Square Frying Pan Cookware has a 3-layer non-stick coating by the manufacturer Ilag based in Switzerland. This makes it highly durable, abrasion resistant and environmentally friendly.

The Square Frying Pan will function on the following heat sources: Gas, Stove, Induction Stove and Fire.

What can I cook in my Frying Pan?

• Use as an “oven” by putting the pan on a triangular stand/grid on the fire. Then add a few coals on the lid. (Avoid putting coals on the knob).
• Baking: Bread, Pap, Potato bake or even a baked desert
• Fry up the perfect breakfast including bacon, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, french toast – all super easy to cook on a gas plate!
• Boiling: Use as a kettle to boil the water quickly. Pour the water easily out of the pot due to the square design.

Cleaning:

• Simply use a little dishwashing liquid with a cloth.
• When there is limited water in camp, a wet wipe will do.
• Do not use an abrasive material to “scrub” the pan like a scourer.
• Open flame safety: Don’t let flames touch the frying pan, as the pan could discolour and create soot build up. (If it does happens use a small amount of oven cleaner on the BASE of the pan only)

Pan Handle:

• Place the handle securely on the pan, flip the lock button on top, make sure it is in a locked position before lifting the pan.
• Use the silicon mats as an extra support underneath the frypan when you are carrying boiling hot contents from the heat source to a table.
• The handle must be removed when the frying pan is left on a heat source.

Silicone Mats:

• Place the mats in between the panand the lid when stacked together, to prevent scratching and rattling.
• Protect your table from burning by placing the pan on the mat.

Stacking the Pan:

• Put the lid on top of each the pan
• Place the handle in the handle bag
• All items above are then placed into the Carry Bag and ready to take on even the roughest terrain while staying protected
